Joe Grieco

Many Moons Ago by Raundi Kai Moore-Kondo

Golf #4

Italians should never take up The Hard Hearted Game of Golf

Golf only wants The Perfect Strikers

Rip down center cut

In the hole

Else you won’t be getting any Pars

We should have learned the Gods can’t stand

Perfection

In the hands of man

Close enough is plenty for mortals from The Boot

Say, putt rims cup

Ball lips out

Teases you

Take another stroke

Friends walk away

Leaving you to pursue The Caledonian Agony

Italians make great renaissance painters, casanovas,

A capella tenors, fashionistas,

Vespa riders, macaroni eaters

Watch above the Sistine Chapel

The hands

Those beautiful hands

God and Adam never touch

They just come close

God reaches for Adam forever

Adam reaches for God forever

What twisted rule would score such reach a bogey?

Golf is just not the way Italians play

Italians should never take up The Game
